Former WWE wrestler Vladimir Kozlov (Oleg Aleksandrovich Prudius) said he has great memories in the squared circle especially his comedy skits with tag team partner Santino Marella. He also discussed a possible mixed martial arts match against former WWE superstar Dave Bautista during in an interview with The Roman Show.
“I had lots of good memories, when I wrestled Triple H for the world title, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, but the best time was when I spent with my tag team partner Santino Marella,” he said. “It was a lot of fun. We had good chemistry. In real life we are real friends, so for us it was easy.”
After his WWE days, he wrestled in Japan where he competed with the likes of mixed martial artist Josh Barnett, who is also a professional wrestler.
Now, Kozlov has shifted his energy to mixed martial arts. He is currently training at the Valente Brothers’ Jiu Jitsu School in North Miami.
Would he fight a person like former pro wrestler turned MMA fighter Dave Bautista?
“We are working on projects,” he said. “Not sure if fight would happen.”
