Former WWE star Rico won a legal battle with the Taxicab Authority in Nevada after they fired him because of wrestling-related activity. The story goes that Rico was placed on lighter work duty because of a knee injury, then he wrestled a match for Future Stars of Wrestling, prompting the taxi company to fire him from his job.
Rico contended that (a) he was not paid for the match and (b) the "choreographed" match helped aid his knee recovery. A legal authority sided with Rico and ordered the Taxicab Authority to reinstate Rico with full pay.
