WWE star Randy Orton is picking up where "Stone Cold" Steve Austin left off seven years ago with "The Condemned."
WWE Studios and Lionsgate are turning Condemned into a franchise with “The Condemned 2: Desert Prey,” which is scheduled to be filmed in New Mexico later this year, reports Variety.
According to the report, the movie is expected to be a home video release as part of WWE Studios's and Lionsgate's partnership to produce six low-budget movies.
Although the first "Condemned" movie did not fare well in theaters, WWE and Lionsgate decided to re-visit the bounty hunter-themed series because of its home video performance.
Two of the six movies in the co-production deal have been filmed - "Vendetta" starring Big Show and "Lockdown" starring Dean Ambrose. Orton stars in the third movie.
