The first real WWE Smackdown episode of 2013 airs Friday night on Syfy featuring The Rock's big return. WWE is advertising it as Rock's first Smackdown appearance in ten years, and the show will emanate from his hometown from Miami.
In addition to offering a homecoming speech, Rock will promote his WWE Title match against C.M. Punk at the Royal Rumble PPV in two weeks.
The other big item for the show is World Hvt. champion Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio, which was advertised during Monday's Raw.
Also in singles action will be Randy Orton, who faces U.S. champion Antonio Cesaro in a non-title match.
In mixed tag action, Dolph Ziggler & A.J. Lee will face the budding duo of Great Khali & Natalya.
